Motel Puyallup

I was not a registered guests however I was here visiting with somebody I just wanted to say when you first drive up it looks a little rough but when you get inside the rooms let me tell you something never judge a book by its cover. I have never seen a hotel room so clean with towels that actually don't have stains on them. Tracy was great she was knowledgeable told us what there was to do around the areas we're visiting. I did read the reviews before we decided to come here and I must say if you're booking a room and you know it's across the street from the hospital in a freeway why would you complain about the noise I'm just curious that's all

I booked a room the beginning of January through their website. I was charged $103 a night for 2 nights, plus $30.02 for taxes which totaled $236.02. Everything was fine until i called today to upgrade to the bigger room. The new room was listed as $115 a night with taxes of $33.28 which would have totaled $263.28. I had paid a $75 deposit through the site, which left my emailed ledger balance at $161.02. When i received the new confirmation, the total was $262.28 AFTER the $75 deposit. i called and spoke with a woman at the front desk who couldnt understand but explained it away by saying they have a $75 deposit fee on top of the room charge and taxes. It isnt even listed on the ledger. She ended up giving me the managers phone number. He explained that the website would not have taken $7

😊: Location was great, less than a 10 minute walk to the Washington State Fair. The bed was very comfortable. It's an older building, well kept up and great value.. 😢: Hot water in the lobby out of order, couldn't make a tea.

Just stayed here during convention season, just a regular room with a place to sleep. There's a stove and fridge, in addition to hot water for a shower so not complaining. Make sure to bring some earplugs if you are sensitive to loud noise, it is by the freeway. Only complaint would be the floor was a little dirty, but other than that, great price for how close it is, plus breakfast too!
