Hampton Inn & Suites Tacoma/Puyallup

We had a mixed but overall decent stay at the Hampton Inn in Puyallup. The day shift staff were wonderful. Very friendly, welcoming, and made check-in quick and easy, which we really appreciated. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Unfortunately, our experience with the night shift was not the same. Javi came across as unfriendly and seemed inconvenienced by our presence and annoyed. His attitude made interactions uncomfortable, which was disappointing compared to the positive service we received earlier in the day. With more consistent customer service across shifts, this would be an easy 5-star stay.

This hotel was superb. The service was excellent. The rooms were neat and super clean (Thank you Tasha). The beds were so comfortable until I really did not want to get up. I slept until 9:00am one morning and I’m an early riser. I almost forgot, the complimentary breakfast was delicious. I have zero complaints. Thank you Hampton Inn and Suites for making our first visit to Washington great!

Niyah was amazing getting us checked in so late. She was welcoming, upbeat, and smiling and conversing with us. I was concerned that she did not have any security guard, just in case, but she stayed positive. We would come back based on her reception alone. The hotel hallways were clean and smelled fresh. Rooms were very clean and spacious. We slept through breakfast. 12pm check-out time is really nice. Easy convenience store across the street with a nice and helpful gentleman working there. The only suggestion I have is to supply rooms with a wine and bottle opener. We found less expensive rates by going through a 3rd party website vs. calling directly and even using AAA discount. Very clean hotel. Big TV with what i consider to be extremely comfortable bed! Bathroom was clean with a large walk in shower. Breakfast was included. Great selection of fruit, cereals, waffles, egg bites (delicious) sausage and panty of drinks and hot coffee. Only complaint is that the water in the shower didn't get really hot. Turned it all the way to hot and it wasn't very hot. I enjoyed the cleanliness of the room and hotel in general. Easy access from sr512. Nice place to stay.
