This place canceled my reservation just so they could jack up their prices because these’s a music festival in town that weekend. They said they “can no longer accommodate my reservation due to an unexpected issue at the property” but I can still book the exact same room just for an inflated price. 0 stars, never stay at this dump
i don’t even know where to start with this one, so i will begin in order of what we noticed one by one. the room looked great first walking in, but things slowly started to appear. any mention of free coffee is not real, even despite the employee mentioning they’d have it. i did not see it once in my two nights there. admittedly, this is not the worst thing, especially many. the thin sheet they provided as a blanket in our non smoking room had a burn through it. the wifi is basically not worth connecting to. the shower curtain was torn. housekeeping did not come through once and it didn’t seem like they do ever. the drawers were filthy and there was even a bottle of lubricant left in one of the drawers from a prior guest. you can flush the toilet once every 5 minutes at a minimum. if you d
It’s okay if you just need somewhere to crash for a couple of nights if you are not too fussy. I booked here because I was on a low budget and wanted to get out of a shared hostel and glad I did. It’s cleanliness is not good… there was hair still in the bath and a dead bug, saw some cockroaches too. Also the rooms do not have a microwave or a means or boiling water which makes things difficult if you are on a tight budget.
Positive: Nothing Negative: It was nasty, hairs on the bed, dirty stained sheets. Dirty ashtrays, dirty inside the drawers. A housekeeper was in my room when I checked in sitting on our bed talking in her phone. Nobody manning the front desk. We left and are seeking a refund.
It is a you get what you pay for hotel. Basic accomodations, close to the metro and shops nearby. Bring earplugs, and they supply soap and towels. Stayed from August 15 to 20. If you are under 21, Motel 6 is the only company that allows hotel bookings in the Washington DC jurisdiction.
