Motel 6 Vancouver, WA

Room felt fairly outdated, bathroom reeked of cat urine, limited number of outlets and out of the available ones a few outlets did not work or were very loose. Staff were very nice during check in and check out. The area felt very sketchy, though this was mildly unsurprising. Overall, disappointed in the room quality, but it made do for our 3 day stay.

This isn’t the worst hotel I’ve stayed in, but it’s pretty damn close. Seems like this location went through a fairly recent freshening up of the rooms. New paint, flooring, bed, and bathroom fixtures, except for the tub. Bed was fairly comfortable, the Wi-Fi was good, and there was a larger refrigerator with a freezer. Those were the only positives.|Extremely tight parking area, especially if you have a larger vehicle. There were little to no amenities or convenience items in the room…no hairdryer, no tissues, no place (hooks) to hang a bath or hand towel. We were in a non-smoking room and there were burn holes in the fitted sheet. Carpeting had been replaced with laminate flooring, but DO NOT walk around without shoes. My feet were absolutely black from walking on the floor. The

This place is great as far as location goes. They are right near the freeway, Fred Meyers, and food. HOWEVER ... IF YOU ARE READING THIS, PLEASE LISTEN TO ME AND STAY AWAY. I had been a good, loyal customer. I stayed there maybe 15 days out of a month. The night clerks are wonderful. The problem is during the day. The maids can't speak any English, and their cleaning services are as bad as their English. (I have found needles under the bed, and used drug foil behind the towels , in the cubby holes near the sink !) I over looked this because they would give me such good deals. I just bought my own towels and blankets. I started having problems with the maintenance man /manager (Jose) because my car had a small oil leak. No problem I parked off of the property.
