Motel 6 Tempe, AZ – Elliot Road

Due to an early flight I needed an inexpensive hotel near the airport. I was hesitant to stay in a motel but due to the great reviews I decided to try. I wouldn’t do it again. We walked into the room to the AC running on full power and the bathroom fan running. There was a faint smell but we couldn’t discern what. I got the impression they were trying to air the room out. It was late and we were tired so I didn’t go back to the counter to ask about it. Then we climbed in bed only to find that the sheets were stained... this hotel had been recently renovated but it did not feel clean. There was hair on the floor, hair in the sheets, and felt grimy. The woman at the front desk was very kind and the process was smooth. There were several groups loitering in the parking lot that made us slight

Positive: Room was clean Negative: Tv Wi-Fi wouldn’t load on or be able to use on phone. Plug in by bed and in bathroom did not work. Toilet paper hold not tight and paper fell on floor. Shower handles were loose. Needed more lighting out in the stairwell and too dark for safety

Staff were polite and efficient, about the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed, thick shower towels, well kept/safe grounds, quiet! Honestly for even double the price i probably couldn’t have gotten a nicer place. Didn’t use hot tub but looked clean and working. I will definitely stay again.

Two fire alarms went off this morning. Very frustrating and nerve wracking.

The staff was very nice and welcoming. Check in was fast and easy. The location is perfect right next to the freeway and a ton of restaurants and shopping. The room was very clean, quiet, & smelled fresh including the bathroom. The AC blew cold all night. It comes with a microwave and fridge which was very helpful. The bed was so comfortable and the linen and towels were fresh. It was a great stay thank you
