Motel 6 Tacoma, WA - South

Stayed with my kids while were looking for an place to rent. The room was clean. Service was good. They practically stopped by everyday to ask if we needed anything towels, toilet paper.

My family and I were between residences and needed a temporary spot to stay. First, we have stayed in 3 different rooms while there and no real complaints, except may be a few noisy guests. The rooms were clean and well stocked and if we needed anything (clean towels, etc) they were more than accommodating. There are a few sketchy characters that hang around but staff makes sure to keep bad ones out as best as they can and keeping the guests safe. Very happy with the staff there, they are very friendly and hard working. I give much respect to Sierra and Amy and of course the rest of the crew. They make you feel welcome and are very quick to address any concerns you might have. Positive: I was very private and quiet. They were very willing to offer extra towels and coffee. Negative: The pillows sucked so bad and were deflated and flat as pancakes within mins of use. We had to request extra, extra pillows just to sleep comfortably. Next time, if there is a next time, we will bring our pillows.

The pool was covered and not available when it was in the 80's!  The door had a large gap and you could see outside!  There were several people hanging outside the hotel talking loud until after midnight.  There were also several vehicles revving their motors all during the night.  Won't stay here again!

The rooms are fairly clean, nothing fancy tho. The customer service has always been good when dealing with the front desk and the maid service. And it's conveniently located near the I-5 freeway and WinCo grocery store as well as burger king and a few other restaurants. And best part is that they do "Price Match" (that can save you approx $30-$70 bucks), which many people aren't aware of...so keep that in mind. Otherwise you'll be paying ridiculous prices.
