Motel 6 Somers Point, NJ - Ocean City - Wild Wood Beach

A little better than expected, but I was disappointed to find out that you can't watch TV in the room unless you stream it from the Internet. Hotel is not in an ideal location, but they have additional lighting to make the place safer. It's nice that they are pet friendly and don't charge extra for bringing a pet with you. Overall, not too bad for a simple, no frills hotel, but they are still a bit more expensive than most other Motel 6 locations mainly because all of the hotels in this area are higher priced.

We chose this place for a last minute weekend get away to see family and friends. This little hole is the wall place is proof sometimes you get more than you pay for. ||Our expectations weren’t very high for the price. To be honest I expected a dump. But boy was I pleasantly surprised. Let’s start with the lady that checked me in was really pleasant. Check in was super quick. Then moment I walked into my room I smelled bleach which thrilled me. That meant clean sheets. The room wasn’t the biggest room I’d ever been in but it was clean and that made up for the size. | It has its own little balcony which was nice. If it had been warm my little girl could have gone out there and I wouldn’t need to worry about her running out into the parking lot. | I had already known from previous

It was disgusting roaches are in the room , bathroom smelled like mold.  White brick wall felt like I was in county jail something you see in a movie . Never again.

The family and I were in search of a place to go during a storm this past week that caused flooding to our area in Sea Isle City. Water was throughout our home and we had no where to go since no one wanted to take in our pets. Of all the motels in the area this one did, at a reasonable cost thankfully. Not only that but when I told them of our issues they let us check in early so we had a place to go with our family!! It's a very basic motel, no bells and whistles you'd find in more costly places, but it fit our needs. It was a clean, basic room with a balcony, had two beds, and even a mini fridge in the room. I gave it 4 stars due to it's simplicity, you do need to bring your own toiletries, and there is no microwave in the room, just one in the lobby if you need one. For the time we stay

Too many rules. Not customer friendly at all. No microwave in room. Was told to switch rooms after a week for no reason and made us pay a higher rate for a room we didnt want. Also, no coffee even though there was a sign in the lobby. The former desk clerk, Ruby that was there last year when I came to visit was much more customer oriented.
