BED BUGS!! NO NO NO!! I was traveling for work and booked a room here a day ahead of time. I've had the bed bug NIGHTMARE at my house before years ago, and I will NOT risk it again! I checked in at the front desk and went to the room. I did not take anything in to start off with, because I always check for bed bugs. I go in the room, and I pull back the edge of the sheets to look around the edge of the mattress. Then I started seeing those little pale dirty off-white looking eggs and sure enough right on the side of the mattress was a live bed bug! The last time we had them in my house it took us about 6 months and about $6,000 to get rid of them! That's not counting new mattresses, pulling carpet, installing new hard flooring, and the labor and time it took me to do it. Do your homework o
The whole place smelled of cigarettes. There were bugs on the wall (and I told the office). There was mold on the walls and lots of repair spackling on the walls. Had a very hard time to get in room. Door knob was stuck. The check-in personnel was not neat and clean looking. Never do a Motel 6. Also had to go to front office to get a hair dryer.
The front desk clerk Rob Harenbrook went above and beyond to make sure hotel guests were well taken care of and happy. I was very happy and comfortable the complete 4 days I was there. I would recommend the Motel 6 to anyone needing a place to stay in Scottsboro. I didn’t meet the other desk clerk Ashley, but every time I called and asked a question about something , she was very kind and helpful.

My husband and I love this Motel in Scottsboro, Alabama thanks to the great prices, great rooms, kind workers, including Amaaazingly Awesome guest service by Rob, at the front desk. He is very kind, courteous, and went above and beyond for us to get the room we hoped for! I love how he is so welcoming, funny, and tries so hard to do everything for his guests.
