Hampton Inn & Suites Scottsboro

Loved this hotel. Kind and hospitable. When I arrived they provided me with two bottles of water. The suite room is one of the nicest I’ve stayed in - I loved the layout! Loved that the bathroom wasn’t next to the entrance door- that’s always bothered me. The bed was excellent. The fridge and microwave and little sink were wonderful and the coat hanging rack was awesome. The breakfast was delicious and it was a peaceful trip.

Had a wonderful stay for about a week, room was clean and updated the pool was very nice. The breakfast was so delicious every day with a wide variety of choices. All of the cooks did such an amazing job especially Sierra who was so friendly. Can’t say enough for all of the staff that went above and beyond from check in to check out especially Kaitlyn who was such a friendly and professional person everyday and always greeted us with a warm smile. Would definitely recommend this place!!!

The hotel was fine, and the staff/service was excellent. The breakfast buffet was superb, including delicious bacon, potato casserole, southern style biscuits and gravy, along with the usual breakfast items. Our only problem was figuring out how to get to the hotel once we arrived in Scottsboro. We could see it in the distance, by the Walmart. After much driving and circling around, we stopped and asked an employee at a nearby bank who advised that we follow the road to Home Depot and it would take us to the Hampton Inn. That didn't exactly work out either, so we asked an employee at Home Depot, who walked outside, and pointed out the little road we needed to be on. This time we saw a tiny Hampton Inn sign, car level, and low and behold, found the Hampton Inn at the end of the driveway

Do not stay here until the renovations are completed. This hotel is under renovation and the noise will drive some people crazy. The water was shut off mid day for 2-3 hours on a Saturday midday while three wedding groups were trying to get ready. had to heat bottled water in the microwave to help the women get ready. Elevators very dirty from construction. No help from the manager as he said they were under renovation and these things happen. Unapologetic and uninformed staff as well at this hotel. Not what I expected from Hampton.

Way over priced. $173 Google rating is a 4.4! Just down the road is Comfort Suites 4.3 Google rating. For $96. Bigger room, softer beds, better breakfast. I have stayed here several times before and it just needs to be better. Softer beds and better breakfast. The last time I stayed here the omelet was burned, totally brown, no one wants that.
