Motel 6 San Antonio, TX - Windcrest

When I arrived I was given a key for a room that was already rented by someone else. I had the unfortunate opportunity to walk in on someone else taking a nap. My next room the key didn't work. After the third time unloading my car an going to the office I finally got into a room. The bed was comfortable. But I only had one towel big enough to dry myself with. The TV had damaged pixels so I watched off colored TV shows all night. I was able to park close to my door for easy access and there was a working fridge which was appreciated. Did not like that there were cigarette burns all over the blanket and curtains. Even for a smoking room it felt low class. I loved the amount of bathroom space. Overall not bad.

My husband and I were a little worried about staying further away from where we usually do and worried that the motel wasn't going to be nice but our nerves were put at ease once we arrived! The gentleman at the front counter was very welcoming and nice and our room was clean and the bed was so comfortable!! The location really wasn't as bad as we thought it would be either. I also loved the fact that there was no dirty carpet and it was hard floors! We will definitely stay here again if and when we need to have a short visit to San Antonio!!

Room was great, clean and house keeping did a good job too. Front desk was nice. I was nervous because I traveled with kids but nothing went wrong at all. Got a non smoking room and my husband smoked outside and wasn’t told anything. Didn’t hear no noise at night very calm place. We were no more than 25 min from anything(six flags, Alamo/river walk and restaurants)! Wouldn’t mind staying here again!

We arrived later in the evening - night staff was a pleasant man who checked us in. Rooms have absolutely no sound-proofing. People had their young kids out and being loud all night - didn't get much sleep with all the kids running around back and forth from the pool, stomping up the stairs, etc. Thankfully we only stayed one night as we would have been grumpier if we lost more sleep staying another night. Room seemed fairly clean but the floors however were pretty dirty. Wearing white socks just for a few minutes walking around the room - bottom socks were black by the time we crawled into bed. Accidentally left phone charger after checking out our room - the housekeeping staff found it and we were able to get it back a few hours later once we noticed it was missing before heading out of

My room was one of the best Motel 6 rooms I have stayed in. The only draw back was the location. You could not easily walk to restaurants etc. I came from the airport in a cab and the driver was worried about letting me out because the area is so industrial and less friendly looking. I had no problem with that because I was only going to be there overnight and be picked up in the morning. There were lots of guests and it looked fine to me.
