Motel 6 San Antonio, TX - Near Lackland AFB

Terrible customer service. Person could hardly speak English and kept upcharging the room above the advertised rate. Do yourself a favore and stay somewhere else.

This place is getting better. Wasn't the best room but it wasn't the worst. I would stay there again if needed

TERRIBLE!!!! They charge you a $80 deposit first and foremost that is more than Hilton hotels!!! As soon as I walked in, it smelled like dust. Like no one had been in the room for years. My eyes watered and I felt like I couldn’t breathe. Only reason why I didn’t ask for another room because it was 3 am and I was exhausted and unable to drive any more… Then none of the lights worked except for the bathroom light, the sheets had hair on them so you can tell they weren’t clean. I scratched til I fell asleep. I just left and now I feel bad like congested. Never again I tell you what.

Door latch was missing screw and bent, baseboards were water damaged with holes, Roaches crawling on headboard, on bed covers, on TV. Tub was dirty, towels were yellowish & smell was nasty, I reserved a non smoking & the room I received smelled like smoke, even after I sprayed febreeze constantly. They told me deposit will be back in account as soon as I checked out and they knocked on for at 8:30am, When check out is 11am. The neighbors had a barking dog that was non stop. People outside asking for cigarettes, to use phone & $. Don't come here unless your okay with all I just wrote. The rooms were alot but I heard some days it's cheap. I got this around spring break and nanny rooms were booked. Last resort but never again I will stay. Also they have no internet for guests.

It's a two star motel, and that's what I expected. It was everything I could have asked for. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, the water was hot with good pressure, and I spent little time there because I was in town for a music festival nearby. I give it a 4 just because the stairs seemed like they needed some maintenance and there were a couple 1-2 inch gaps in the floorboards of our room. That's all I can complain about. Also, the cleaning services were amazingly friendly and very helpful, I was very happy with the service they provided.
