Motel 6 San Antonio, TX - Downtown - Market Square

Room wasn’t as clean as I’d like. there were lots of hairs in the bathroom but the bed and sheets were pristine so that made up for it. The man who checked us in was very sweet and friendly. I didn’t catch his name but he was very well informed about the area and good places to eat. He would be good for tourists to talk to.

Very clean large room and very clean oversized pool. We usually always stay here because it’s so close to the convention center and minutes away to the River walk and rivercenter mall and restaurants to eat . I Never have no complaints they keep it well lit outside and multiple cameras around your Vehicles.

Positive: Location Negative: Yes, I did not like that the Handicap room did not have a mini fridge to put my refrigeration medication in. The AC was really noisy and the fact that it was a 2 night stay. They did not put clean towels the next day. I had to ask for them.

When I stay at a Motel 6, I am only expecting one thing: a CLEAN room to sleep in. We didn’t get that here. There was hair in the sink, on the toilet, and a clump of it hanging from the folded up clean towel. There was dried soap on the faucet, dried urine on the toilet seat, and a used bandaid on the floor. The sheets did appear to be clean. There were no blankets, just the sheet and the very thin coverlet over the sheet. The a/c fan could not be turned off, so it blasted the entire time we were there. Our total with tax was $100.98. I don’t think it’s asking too much for the room to be clean. For the record, I did NOT see any bugs, so that’s worth something.

Stayed here before and no major issues. Close to Market Square, a few blocks to the Riverwalk, and next to McDonalds. The room needs more cleanliness. The bathroom faucet drips and they shower was filthy. The sheets, towels, and pillows were clean. No frig or microwave. It was a non-smoking room but it smells.
