Motel 6 Raleigh, NC - North

I would not recommend staying here. The only good parts were the price and the front desk clerk was very nice and did give me a different room when I asked to move. Not a very safe location, not a good idea for family’s with children. A lot of people that were staying at the hotel when I stayed the one night were living there. Parking lot was filled with litter and both the rooms I was in had roaches and the bed spreads had cigarette burns in them but the sheets did appear to be clean but there were not enough pillows, they only had 2 small pillows on the bed and they easily smashed when I leaned back on them. Room smelled fine though. Another guest informed me that if I took a shower that the ceiling would leak on me. Bathroom looked clean but again there were a few roaches so. There was

Hotel is clean enough for the price paid. Easy check in. Area seemed to get a bit rougher at night than it seemed like it would... Overall a decent place to stay if you're looking for a no frills room to stay the night. Elevator is not working so be prepared to climb stairs to the 2nd or 3rd floors unless you're lucky enough to secure a 1st floor room.

Positive: "" Negative: Sheets were soiled. Got off work exhausted only to see stains on sheets. Called the front desk and they would not bring sheets to my room. I had to go downstairs to get clean sheets.

What a dump! Room stunk, broken window, fridge got cool but not cold, one of the 2 plastic chairs in room had a broken leg, outlet by the sink was inoperable, towels were small & rough, mattress was maybe 3 inches thick, pillows were small and very flat, no blow dryer even though one listed on amenities list. Need I continue? If this is the only place available do yourself a favor and sleep in your car.

Reserved a room online, so I missed the military discount. When I went in to check in the lobby reeked of Marijuana, and the desk clerk and his little girlfriend (I'm assuming that's what she was) looked red eyed and stoned. Gave them my driver's license and was asked for it two more times even tho he had it in his hand. Room was passable, tub was dirty.
