Motel 6 North Richland Hills, TX

We had plumbing issues in our home, so we booked this room for the weekend since it was close by. The listing online said pets accepted and a rate. We booked it and went to check in at 8pm that night. When we arrived they asked how many dogs, to which I replied 3. The front desk clerk said that 3 aren’t allowed, and after talking to the manager, confirmed they would not make an exception. Nothing on their website states a two pet minimum, and any Motel 6 I have ever stayed at allows pets without limits and doesn’t charge. The fact that they don’t have this anywhere is false advertising and makes situations worse. We were left scrambling to find a new hotel late at night. Considering i never even stayed at this location and im having to write such a bad review because i mistakenly made this reservation and shortly after making it, i cancelled it and was promised no charge. long story short the reservation was never cancelled and i was charged now that ive contacted priceline and the hotel, its the hotels turn to refund the money and the front desk staff is refusing to say anything but that i need to contact priceline and that she doesnt know how to contact her manager and i can wait until monday. if i could do a negative review i would, and people need to learn to be more professional.

Positive: The rooms were clean and the property looks like they try to maintain it as best as possible. Office staff was friendly and kind. Negative: I left my wallet in my room. I left early in the morning around 5 AM and I didn’t realize I had left it until about 9 AM. So I called the front desk and asked them to go check and she told me no. The room was cleaned and my wallet was gone.

WOW! Where to begin; me and the boys hit the road for one last guys trip of the year and selected this Motel 6 due to its proximity and price. We were greeted by a (mostly) friendly woman who (probably) assured us the room had been cleaned. In excitement we entered the room to be overwhelmed with the smell of cheap cigarettes and B.O. Getting past that, we examined the (dirty) bedsheets to determine if the stains were blood/lipstick/some other bodily fluid. The shower was very slippery and my boy fell twice while in there, plus all our towels were tinted a light brown and had much other hair on them that was not ours. I’m leaving a second star only because the door stayed locked all night long.

The price was very affordable but they could enhance the cleanliness of the towels and put irons in each room. Water temperature and pressure is magnificent 👌 definitely top notch
