The Manager 'Sam' is rude. That is his made up name. He is an Indian gentleman and not very polite. This property should not be allowed to serve any visitors. They have several issues some very severe 1) They take no responsibility of their cleaning. They warn you constantly that if they clean the room, things may get stolen. They constantly remind you that they will not send any cleaning crew to your room. 2) They have no cleaning crew. Sam and his wife are the only people who clean and take whole day. So, if you are leaving room chances are that they may not get to it at the end of day and you will be staying in a stinking room full of garbage, Dirty towels, Dirt and mess on the floors. 3) They have bright lights and not a good way to cover windows with curtains. I want to recognize the Motel 6 in Morgantown for an experience that truly stood out.||Over the course of a month of travel, this was the only Motel 6 I stayed at that actually “left the light on for me,” just like their slogan says.||I arrived in the middle of a snowstorm as a weary traveler with two dogs after driving nonstop for hours. There was only one person on duty, and I believe his name was Ben. He was getting rooms ready, checking people in, and managing everything on his own—with calm, efficiency, and genuine kindness.||Before even checking me in, he allowed me to use the employee bathroom, clearly understanding how long and stressful the drive had been. Smelled like dirty feet and stale cigarettes🤢. Rude front desk attendant upon arrival..Maybe he was having a bad day, but at least try and be somewhat pleasant. Surprise dog deposit (not listed online) which is understandable…cause dogs are dogs and can make messes…but the owner got snippy with my husband when he was alerted that we had 2 dogs? Like we had somehow been dishonest? That should have been our first clue and we definitely should have asked for an immediate refund after smelling the room but we honestly thought it might air out a little and we were tired after a 4 hour commute. After trying to sleep in the smell, uncomfortable bed, and thin walls making it noisy and hearing everything the next door guests said/did, I went to the desk and was hoping to negotiate a partial refund

Update: room #125. My most recent stay here was the worst night's sleep I have ever had! So noisy! And not because the motel was full and busy, but because it was empty. The TV in room #124 was blaring loudly all night long! At first, I was thinking it was someone who likes to sleep with the TV on. Only to find out when we left in the morning the room was unoccupied and the TV was on and playing to an empty room. It would be nice if the TVs weren't on in the rooms upon arrival, or if they must be on, they could be muted. I had a long drive the next morning, and really needed a good night's sleep, but instead drove home with a headache because of lack of sleep. I know you can do better, and I'll be sure to ask that the TVs in unoccupied rooms next to mine are muted. Rooms are
