Motel 6 Houston, TX – Hwy 249 And Fallbrook

I wasn't too impressed with the hotel but for the price what do you expect. The room smelled of smoke, which I tolerated only because I was too tired to travel to another hotel. The rooms are not exactly what's shown in the photo. The bed was clean and comfortable. That's all that really mattered to me. I stayed in worse.

I booked and paid for an entire week through OYO for myself and one guest. When I arrived, the lady didn’t seem friendly from the beginning. I asked how she was doing and she ignored me. I proceed to let her know I booked my reservation online, the front desk had me sign and begin check-in and took my valid ID. After that, my guest walked in and they demanded his ID, which is NOT standard hotel policy. Hotels only require ID from the person who booked the room. My guest could not provide ID because his wallet had just been stolen and he was in the process of replacing it. Despite this, the front desk refused to let us stay, yet still marked me as checked in so they could keep the money. When I contacted OYO for a refund—since the hotel denied my stay—OYO completely refused to help and to

I didn't stay here. Just used the parking lot to locate a utility line. The outside was clean, but for the people who are out of town and looking for a hotel. This area isn't the best, but not real bad. Don't keep things in your car and pay attention if you are out and about late at night.

To say this property is run down to the point the building should be condemned is an understatement. You can clearly see the hallway through the 1/2" + gap around the entire door to the room, the deadbolts don't actually lock, and the latches inside are a joke, made out a brittle plastic spray painted with metallic paint to give the illusion of safety. The woman at the front desk is so incredibly rude, why anyone ever thought she should deal directly with the public much less work in hospitality will always confuse me. Holes in the walls of the rooms, serious spider infestation, water damage severe enough paint droops down from the walls sagging from the weight of the water held inside. It's just ok . Door has a gap all the way around it no table or couch in the room just a bed and two tables one with the phone and one light didn't work . Stairs suck . No elevator. I called and they said 45$+tax and at the window they charged me 60$
