Motel 6 Houston, TX - East

Booked a non-smoking room and walked in to one of the more smoke-smelling rooms we've ever had and a cigarette burn on the bedsheets. The fridge was also making terribly annoying clunking sounds the whole time. At least it's only 10 minutes away from downtown, but one of the sketchier possible areas and no other real redeeming qualities besides the three fast food places you can walk to.

The pillows are the fluffiest I ever slept on. The bed was very nice and comfortable. The room was very very spacious and spec and span. The housekeepers made sure that the rooms were clean everyday. My family was very peaceful and happy about the room

Positive: I do not recommend anyone to stay at that hotel. Negative: The service was very bad. The room had a bad smell. The TV didn't work. It was dirty. The bathroom was dirty. Lots of hair on the floor and in the shower. Smell of cigarettes. I went with my partner, we only stayed for 2 hours and we left.

***All these fake reviews saying it's clean and all the other bs. The pics and vids say otherwise*** If you can find a different hotel do it. As you can see in the pics and vids, it's a dirty place. I do give it's credit for being quiet but that's about it. Roaches all over the room. The hot water barely works. Can turn all the way hot and still be warm. The refrigerator didn't work either. Toilet was dirty as well. They had one towel in the room. We leave for the day hoping they would put 2 clean towels when house cleaning would be done. Get back in the afternoon to get ready for the night out, but no clean towels or no clean room. So I go to get some from the office and the guy said house keepers cleaned and left towels, but they skipped our room. Probably why room is so dirty altogether

The electricity went out today and I paid cash to extend my room when I came back at 5:30. All of my things were gone. The man in the photo and the housekeepers stole all of my things. Do not stay here you will be robbed.. I took a picture of this man earlier today when he wanted to accept cash for the room and would not provide a receipt.
