Motel 6 Helena

As a disabled vet, I asked for a room on 1st floor, clerk said there were none available. Got into 2nd floor room, and it smelled full on piss, vomit and animals all over everything... asked for a diffirenet room and they put me on the 1st floor. Thank you. However, the service is well... that^ The best thing is that I did get a new room, but that is after I was lied to, that "there are no rooms available on 1st floor"... and it was cheap.

I usually stick with my usual "If you can't say anything nice ... don't say anything at all". Now we live in the squeaky wheel era and if you don't say anything, nothing will get fixed. This wasn't a late booking and I asked for a room with two beds. When I got there, the only rooms that they had left were for smokers. Okay! Not a big deal. I'm used to rooms that have burnt spots in the carpet and that lite smell about the room. I just want to rest and take a shower in the morning. The place was noisy. People coming and going all hours of the night and morning. The air conditioner/heat pump that was above the door. Nope, never worked. It made fan noises but it didn't cool the room. The staff was pleasant enough. The place was pretty clean although there was one dirty seeming towel and not even half a roll of toilet paper. My main issue is, and i understand things happen but it bothers me a bit, i booked a two bed room and i got there and it seems that the automatic scheduling system switched me from two beds to one. One of my family members, myself included, had to alternate between who would sleep on the floor.

Was staying 3 nights and 2 rooms, I understand about eco and changing of sheets. However the placard in the room stated that they would tidy the room and provide fresh towels if they were on the floor. Not once in either room did this happen and we had to ask for towels every single day we were there. We were not in the room all day so it wasn't that they cleaned and we messed it up.

Came home to visit family and they made it easy and simple. I am no snob in any way but I also have standards. The room was clean. The area was fairly decent. And the attendants working at the motel were very polite and nice to talk to. And it was always easy to ask for things when needed since the stay was extended. Definitely staying again when u roll through town. Plus the price was right!
