Motel 6 Harlingen, TX

The room was excellent value for what I paid. By default, they don't do housekeeping unless you ask, which is to my liking. The desk attendant was very nice at all times of the day. The hotel is in the dead center of Harlingen, so it is a short journey to almost anywhere you would desire. Motel 6 is on the come-up these days, and I intend to stay at more locations when I travel.

This Motel 6 is unscrupulous. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!||Our company paid for two nights for an employee who could not make it home due to flooding in the area. The Front Desk Clerk, Juan, would not let the employee back in the room for the second night. Mind you the area was flooding (March 28 and March 29) On Friday, March 28, 2025, my employer was on the phone with Juan while she was booking booking two nights for our employee. Juan knew that one night was booked under the employee's name and the second night was under my bosses name because she joined Motel 6 Rewards program to get a better rate at the time she booked the se ond night. She told Juan this. Juan said everything would be fine. My boss even asked him if the employee would have to get a new key the next day and he said no. He w

Nice, clean, quiet room, new towels… recently remodeled. Very inexpensive! …but no frills — There’s no mini fridge or microwave, only two pillows… no shampoos or ANY amenities. Just two little bars of soap and toilet paper. Good for a restful night while traveling. They have a pool that I didn’t check out, but looked clean from my room.

Place smells like they mop with dirty pee water... My booking was cancelled and when I got there said they didn't have me booked even with my confirmation number which was paid...so I paid cause I needed a room when I was told I would be getting a refund for the first online changed. Even we I ask for a payment summary old dude was in shock..room no microwave no fridge and the restroom was even clean don't waste you time or money
