Motel 6 Gadsden

Start positive.....The pillows were nice and the shower was hot. The restaurants in the area were very good. |The hotel is not anywhere close to a 4 out of 5. Our laminate floor was dirty when we first walked in the room. The maid was cleaning the room next door and I grabbed her broom to sweep the room myself. Our comforters were dirty, stained and had cigarette holes burned into them. Not well kept ot maintained, it was like putting lipstick on a pig......pretty tile, nice pictures on the wall, and a neat bathroom mirror, does not take away from the unkept rooms.

Rooms were nice and appeared clean. Service at check in was friendly and helpful. The location is convenient and close to several places to get food and convenient stores. The only issue with the location is coming from Gadsden toward Rainbow City you have to make a U-turn and get in the right lane to turn immediately into their parking lot

Changed to Red Roof Inn. The entire place was very clean. Beds, pillows and comforter were comfortable. Bathroom, towels and sink were clean. I like that they also had a hand pump for skin lotion. The location is on a large lake which was calming and quiet. The lake even had cute ducks! The front desk attendant was professional and conversational. We paid $78 for the 1 night in February 2025, and that included taxes and all fees. Would recommend.

Don't judge a book by it's cover.. this motel is so much more than it's exterior. It's way way nice and super clean. The lady at the night desk is simply amazing. She was engaging, warm, knowledable, and more than willing to help. Definitely a welcoming asset. (Wish I would have caught her name!) Upscale vibes, with down home pricing. Great view of the Coosa as well.

Decently priced. Clean, and comfortable. Mattress was very comfortable. Pillows weren't bad, but I always bring my own anyway just in case. A ton of restaurants within a 5 minute drive, both sit down service, and fast food, several within walking distance. Water pressure was so so, but water stayed hot a long time. One complaint, there was a visible dirty ring around the tub, everything else was clean though. There is a decent pool here, but be aware, no breakfast available. I didn't realize, but can't be mad cause it does actually state that in the description. I would've booked here anyway though even had I realized....|Overall, inside the room is pretty quiet. But outside the room, you can hear alot going on inside rooms. Neighbors had 2 young children....|It does sit on a main highway,
