Motel 6 Colorado Springs, CO - Air Force Academy

The staff was Amazing, very kind and accommodating, I originally only booked a stay for two nights because I had a job interview, but then weather intervened, then I found out I got the job, then I had to find place to rent, then weather intervened again… the staff went out of their way to make sure I could keep my room, they made sure I had a steady supply of clean linens and toilet paper, they were incredibly friendly. The rooms were clean, they took extra care to make sure the property was safe from vagrants and well maintained! I spent five times as much a night on a hotel rooms at hiltons and other places… and not gotten near the kind of friendly service. The dog’s stay free was also a huge perk! Stayed here for a wedding & the place was DISGUSTING. Towels had brown spots on them, sinks & toilets were filthy, the other rooms our wedding party rented had pee spots on the walls, shower drains barley drained, spiders crawling all over, hallways to the elevator had throw up and urine marks including it being all over the hallways & premises of the property. The walk up to the front desk there was human feces all over. There were Drug dealers dealing in the parking lot. Staff was rude. Our prices were originally $113 for reservations. Day of arrival room reservation went up to $260 to add another night. Then on top they still make you pay deposit that’s possibly returned. Will never be staying in or recommending any stay here. Horrible experience.

Positive: "" Negative: Somewhat run down outside. We were woken up in the middle of the night by a woman screaming in the room next door. I sounded like her significant other was beating her up, Had to call the front desk to take care of the situation.

Rooms were above average for the Motel 6 chain. Everything worked. Fairly clean. However front staff Maria was excellent. She made the stay seem very pleasant. Very friendly, helpful, and outgoing. Thank you Maria. Excellent employee.

Before you book this hotel you must understand that they have a $75 deposit fee. They won't allow you to do this in cash. They also have a system that doesn't allow you to properly use the chip system. You need to swipe the card. After 5 business days I did not receive the deposit I put down for the room and the front desk is telling me it is because of some system error. The lady said I have to wait for the manager to come in and refund the deposit because she does not know how to do it. I dont even live in Colorado Springs so I can not just be showing up everyday to argue about the money that they owe me! Most motel 6's dont even require a deposit! I think it is very unprofessional how employees are not trained correctly to operate the booking system! My room did not have a microwave eit
