Motel 6 Chattanooga, TN

We where there for 10 minutes and left we decided not to stay due to the army of roaches that scattered and also the what looked like a Period Stain in the sheets of the bed. We where not going to leave a review because I figured when we went to the office and told them we where not staying there they would refund our money. But as a shotty place they didn't and so now they have one more review letting everyone know that they seem to be one of the worse hotels in Chattanooga. Be warned you may leave with more then you showed up with. Oh and the stain clearly was recent from them not washing sheets between guests. Place should be shut down.

I was originally happy to try this location when driving through a week or so ago but I was very disappointed. The front desk male worker was not very friendly, then we get to the room and it was clear that the housekeepers made the bed but did not clean the bathroom. There was number 2 from a previous guest still all over the toilet. Additionally, there was filthy towels still in the room. I will say there was good water pressure but there wasn't enough pillows either. I have a feeling this place is part of a franchise and not corporate because corporate would never allow these mistakes to be made. I stayed on Dec 19, 2025 on my way to Texas. Checked in around 10pm. Jay was the attendant and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Answered my questions with a smile and welcoming attitude! I am positive at this time of year he has had a rough shift yet he never showed it! That speaks volumes for his work ethic as well as the motel. I have Multiple Sclerosis and mobility issues. I had a ground floor room and while it was not a handicap unit it was very accessible. The room had minor issues but was very welcome for two travelers and a demanding Yorkie. She loved having two beds to go from. I checked out around 7:30 the next morning and Jay was there again. It was nice to be able to say goodbye and thank him for his hospitality. So I got to the hotel, booked a non-smoking room and ended up getting booked in a smoking room. The girl at the front had only been trained for two days and was on her own without being properly trained. She booked me in a smoking bathroom. She called the owner, the owner came by and then blamed me for Going to the bathroom in that room and now he cannot use it. He wanted to charge me a security deposit and a new room. The showers had mold the pillowcases had stains. The bathtub had cigarette stains. The towels had stains. TV didn’t work room smelt like garbage and smoke. I’ve seen multiple responses from Motel 6 about this place and nothing has changed, literally nothing. Motel six is hell.
