Motel 6 Blythe, CA

Honestly? This 2 star hotel gets 4 stars from me. I don't know what some of you are expecting for the cheapest place in town, but: the room was clean and the linens smelled good and the bed was not too soft, which I like. They are dog friendly and didnt charge a pet fee. No one broke into my motorhome in the parking lot. I got out of the desert for a night, got two showers, and got some take-out within walking distance. The mini fridge worked. The room was cool. The godfather 3 was on the telly. I had an extremely pleasant stay for 50 bucks.

Positive: Terrible rooms. Stains everywhere. Human waste in toilets and urine in shower Negative: Dirty towels and when I went to the front desk I asked for clean towels and your idiot staff offered a 6’0 male TWO WASHCLOTHS because the hotel was out of towels?????

Been staying here for years, but the unbelievably underwhelming experience of my most recent visit all but guaranteed it will be my last. It’s truly a shame, but for the first time ever, the amazing customer service provided by the office staff wasn’t enough to make up for the sheer disappointment of the facilities. Don’t get me wrong, they are just as amazing as they’ve always been, but they can only do so much. Unfortunately, it seems like the office staff is the only department that knows what it’s doing; I mean, even the short one that seems like she’d rather be doing anything else, if not the friendliest, she’s efficient at her job.|The other departments should be ashamed of themselves!|As for maintenance, the biggest issue was the fact that, despite it being the hottest part of the s

I got room 122 for 2 nights the 12th and the 13th of January 2026. When I got in my room I noticed that the floors were really sticky and fridge was cracked open and realized it was because the freezer was extremely frosty. I was staying for 2 nights and needed the fridge so I scraped a bunch of frost out of there so the door would shut. After that there was some ice on the floor so I grabbed a white bathroom wash rag to clean it up. After I wiped the floor a little I noticed how dirty the wash rag was (I wish I took a picture) it was FILTHY. Now I realize that these are the cheapest rooms available. But yuck. Needless to say I never set my bare feet on that floor my entire stay. The sheets were clean and the ladies at the counter in the office were great! It was also nice that this place

This motel is the most unsafe feeling and disgusting lodging I have ever had the displeasure of staying at. We stayed in room 150. - The screws in the deadbolt were falling out. - There was no lock or screen on the windows, so ANYONE could have opened our window. - There were people loitering in the parking lot at 4 am. - Our bedsheets had urine stains on them and paw prints on them. - The fan on the heating/cooling system was broken, so the room reached nearly 90 degrees. When we told the front desk, they shrugged. - The shower was incredibly dirty. The only thing in that bathroom that was clean was the toilet. - The floors were so dirty that a new pair of white socks I had just put on were nearly dark brown after just walking to the bathroom from the bed. - The fridge was so frosted over
