Customer Reviews
Positive: It was located close to Quartszite Negative: Our first room was nauseating from the cleaning chemicals used. The second room wasnt cleaned well, had a large hair ball and urine next to and running down the toilet, Staff at the front desk was rude and didn't want to be bothered, would never go back!
Stayed here for 3 nights while rockhounding and it proved to be an excellent spot for the areas we visited. Rooms were upgraded and spacious and bed was super comfy for us. Place was really clean and bathroom-shower for fine. Breakfast was simple: pastries, cereals, coffee-tea, yogurt and various fruit. Coffee was pretty decent for a budget hotel. This place has a nice pool, but was too cool (low 70s) in January. I would stay here again for my rock adventures.
When I first arrived, the man at the front desk seemed pleasant and the lobby area appeared quaint but there were no immediate red flags. The first issue arose when the guy working the desk, who later identified himself as the manager, did not know how to complete the check in process. He was very apologetic, and explained that "everyone just left" and that, simply by being the only remaining employee, he was now the manager. He also explained that this was his third day on the job. Eventually he figured it out, and I went up to my room. Unfortunately I lugged all of my stuff upstairs to the room before taking a look, or else I wouldn't have bothered. It was SUPER hot in the room, and the A/C did not work well at all. Things went from bad to worse as I slowly took a look around the room.
I was overcharged for a 2 night stay they charged me over $450. The Room had a bad smell, AC unit took forever to cool down. I had a terrible experience with the front office clerk, he seemed like he was always spying on us every time we arrived to hotel he would approach us and at one point he said the owner was watching on the cameras only because we had the intention of going inside the pool.
Right off the start 🙌 I had one of the best experiences, I called a few hours before checking in and Anabel was so helpful and once I got to the hotel I noticed how professional and respectful she is, she gave us good accommodation and for that I'm grateful 🙏 About the room, it was really clean and big. The microwave and fridge were very helpful, the beds were spacious, and the bathroom looked very decent, with many towels and extras for self care. The area was pretty safe and right next to the freeway entrance, I didn't have any inconvenience or complaints during my stay, safe place to rest after a long days travel and very helpful and polite staff!
