Blythe Hotel

No breakfast was offered. The shower offered super hot water only. Rooms were OK otherwise. The staff was very friendly.

The grounds need to be cleaned up. The pool is closed. No ice. When I went to check out at 7:30 am the doors were locked, the front desk was closed and no continental breakfast was available. I checked out several days ago and have not received the receipt for the stay. On the upside the room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable.

I just completed an overnight stay at this hotel. The location was excellent. The front desk was very helpful and friendly at check in and check out. The convenience of the location to various places to eat was top. Starbucks right across the street. The room was clean and stocked with coffee & supplies. Rooms could use renovations. A/C cooled off the room efficiently. Bathroom was clean supplied with enough towels and toiletries. Water was hot throughout my stay. It was quiet and I felt safe.

Made the reservation online assuming the pictures and overview on their website was accurate. Not all true once we arrived at 1pm, terrible greeting at the front desk, no welcome just you have to come back in 2 hours. No elevator to the second floor and the clerk was not sure about the suite we had booked. Also the hotel location is hard to find and is surrounded by junk cars, and old vending machines on the property. There were to vagrants going through the dumpster beside the hotel on the property while we were there. Went online and called to cancel the reservation. Of course we were charged anyway for $130.00 and 5000 points. I would highly recommend not contacting and or staying anywhere near this Blythe, CA Best Western hotel.

I agree with the others, I don’t know how this place is associated with Best Western. When booking, the pool and full hot breakfast was advertised but when we arrived, it was clear the pool had been empty for who knows how long and there was no breakfast available. I booked an accessible room and upon check in. The night clerk looked at me and said “you don’t need a handicap room.” and changed our room to a regular room even though we were like the only ones there. The AC didn’t work and you could tell someone had smoked in there (shower cap tied over the smoke detector). They quickly put us in the room next door which was covered in stains and had multiple areas of torn carpet. I travel a lot and this seemed way more like a mom and pop roadside motel than a chain brand hotel. I’m sure t
