Morro Shores Inn & Suites

BE AWARE - when I checked into this hotel, they demanded a $150 cash deposit of which I did not have and was not aware I needed to have when I made the reservation online. When I informed them that I did not have $150 cash they demanded that they charge a $200 deposit onto my credit card. This was in addition to the $1700 I was already paying for my 10 day stay. That was nearly three weeks ago and I am still waiting for them to credit the $200 back to my credit card. In any normal hotel, the deposit refund should be automatic after check out. I should not have to chase them for my money, but I have made multiple attempts to so. Our check-in experience was extremely abnormal and aggressive. The location is great. I enjoy that they have the park next to the hotel and the beach access a little down the way. The beds are not the best a bit soft for my liking and I really wish the bathtub was working because after a long day at the beach I was looking forward to taking a bath and the plug did not work and only the shower could be used. But all in all not bad.

I had a great time here. Rooms are very clean, restrooms are very clean and no sign of wear and tear. Manager was very friendly and attentive to make our stay as comfortable as he could. Location is great you are about 15-20 min walk to the main strip of stores and restaurants. Theres a firepit right around the corner from the office and was excellent for a gathering. Overall a great time and a great stay.

The Office Management was very accommodating. Nice clean rooms. Very reasonable and convenient to all that Morro Bay has to offer. We have stayed here 2 other times in the past

Positive: The Maids were friendly Negative: We will be sending in a separate email. Too much to write here. The hotel was filthy and in need of major maintenance.
