Blufftop Inn & Suites - Wharf/Restaurant District

Had a wonderful stay here. The room was clean. Beds were comfy. WiFi connection was great. Checkout process so easy. This hotel is close to everything making everything walkable so we got to keep our car parked the entire time. You do have to understand the hotel is older so the building itself (the walls of the room) are thin so you do hear your neighbors mumbling, laughing, walking (if you’re on bottom floor) so it’s important to know the quiet timeframe which is 10pm-8am which guest were good about it for the most part.

We (2 couples) stayed here for one night on our road trip from San Diego to San Francisco. There were only a few other travelers staying here, so I cannot comment on noise levels. However, my friend (and his wife) were in the next room and his snoring can drown out a jet engine - I didn't hear a thing. This is an older hotel, but the rooom was recently modernized and was very nice - LED lighting, ceiling fan, newer flat screen TV, comfy bed and clean shower. No complaints here!

Conveniently located with walking distance to the Morroy Bay waterfront with stunning view of Morro Rock. Clean, spacious and modern room with great bathroom amenities. Lots of breakfast / dining options nearby and great for a stay for families. Would love to visit again!

Location is GREAT! It’s about a 5 min walk to Giovanni’s TakeOut so veryyyy close to the coastal viewpoints. The rooms are very clean and more modern than most! Such as heated mirrors in the restroom and a full length mirror that can be lit. TV can also cast. Service was great, they do offer room service. Only thing- and they preface this- their walls are very thin. Some beds are positioned wall to wall to the other bed in another room so you can hear… everything. Quiet times start at 8pm, and our neighbors weren’t quiet so we asked front desk to kindly remind them and she did! Because we heard the whole conversation (against our will, thin walls) 😂 Didn’t mind our neighbors from the day previous so it really depends on who your neighbors are.

I recently stayed at Blufftop Inn & Suites in Morro Bay and really enjoyed my visit! The rooms were very clean, nicely updated, and the bed was super comfortable. You can tell they’ve put effort into keeping everything modern and fresh. The only downside is that the walls are a bit thin—you can hear quite a bit from neighboring rooms and the hallway. But honestly, that didn’t take away too much from my experience. The location is absolutely perfect—just a one-minute walk to Embarcadero Road and all the best restaurants, shops, and attractions in Morro Bay. If you want convenience, comfort, and a clean place to stay, this is a great choice!
