456 Embarcadero Inn & Suites

We have been staying at 456 Embarcadero for the last 14 years. We drive 5 hours to stay 6 days two to three times a year. We always request a full ocean view room. Most of the time it’s #302. We arrived and I noticed new management had taken over. The young man at the desk gave us room#210. I told him I had requested room #302. I booked months in advance. He said #210 was all we could have that day. The room was looking at a multi colored building and a large crane. There was no view of the ocean! I went back to the office and asked the young man about the discrepancy. He said I could talk to the manager on Tuesday and that he would let the manager know to contact me reference the room. Tuesday came and nobody contacted me at all. I never heard anything from the manager. The staff at the o

We stayed here for one night passing through. Lovely room with beautiful views of the bay from our balcony, plenty of coffee pods supplied. Only negative is the shower, the taps feel loose and the water pressure and temps wernt great , it was either too hot or too cold and nothing in between. Hair-dryer wasnt working either but overall a lovely place the stay.

We've stayed here before because it's well located near everything but not in the middle of crowds and noise. This time we had a renovated room with a nice little balcony. It was clean and comfortable. Good shower pressure. Easy parking. Second floor view okay but not great. Minimal breakfast. Quiet.

Our visit to Morro Bay was enhanced by the lovely accommodations that we found at the 456. Upon arrival, we were happy to see it was located across the street from the ocean and walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. Best of all, the room was spacious, well appointed, comfortable, and had a great view. The fireplace was a cozy bonus! To add to the experience, we found the complimentary happy hour across the street at The Estero to be very pleasant, especially because our hostess, Sara was extremely welcoming! A glass of champagne and great conversation, we were ready to discover this quaint downtown. A short walk to Grassy Bar Oyster Company was a great time, purchasing freshly shucked oysters and sitting on their patio to enjoy a delicious start to our late afternoon.

We stayed for 3 nights and it was excellent! Nicely appointed room, good products, comfortable bed. Covered parking was helpful in the rain. And they provided a bed for our dog. This hotel is located at the quiet end of the embarcadero so we slept well. Awesome hotel all around!
