Beach Bungalow Inn & Suites

We had a beautiful room that included a fireplace and window shutters with a marble floor. The bathroom had a deep tub and a separate shower with a waterfall option and a bench. The inn is small and quiet and so cute. There was even a rocking chair and small table outside our room. The staff was very friendly and we were checked in and out easily. The location is perfect with great views and walking distance to almost everything. We had a great time and will definitely stay here again.

This was s great experience. We booked the family room and were very happy with the accommodations. The nice surprise that we weren't expecting was the warm, fresh-made breakfast hand delivered to our room. Nice touch. ||We were close enough to Carla's Breakfast/Lunch Cafe and just a 1 block walk down to the waterfront. Pretty much everything is walkable from here.||Fireplace and journals in the room from other travelers who shared their stories were a friendly way to feel like this is more cozy than corporate.||We would absolutely return and stay here again.

Only 3 stars because they did not have breakfast available even though they still advertise it--they claimed it was "too expensive". Also water pressure was not great in the shower. And room, while nice and clean, had no desk or table, so everything needed to be done on the beds (like eating). Otherwise a nice safe hotel within walking distance of the docks and the sea otters :).

Book the room, just do it. You'll be so glad you did because I just had one of THE BEST stays and it couldn't have been as good without The Beach Bungalow. Initially it was the breakfast that sold me, but the beauty of the room, the location and just overall the sense of belonging you receive, has me already booking my next few vacations here. And not gonna lie, a very possible relocation 😆 Morro Bay is one of those places that has visible community connection and symbiosis with the environment around it. The Beach Bungalow pays homage to that in the most perfect, Serene way. The rooms are named after important aspects of the bay, and Amy, who is the wonderful, most warm and hospitable manager is more than happy to share with you some of the history.
