Morro Bluff Inn

We were lucky enough to get to stay here during our evacuation from the Santa Cruz Mountains fires. My parents used one of the units and my family of four used the large front unit. It was perfect for us! There were two cozy bedroom spaces (cute decor and very comfortable beds). The large front room with living room and kitchen (stovetop, full fridge, convection oven/microwave combo) made our stay very comfortable and we were able to cook meals easily. All the fixtures and finishings had a beachy feel which added to the charm. Also, since we weren't on vacation, we were able to work (including teaching distance learning) very comfortably, with plenty of wifi. The best part was the location. I feel grateful to have stayed at Matt and Toni’s in Morro Bay. The room is much larger than in the pictures and all the amenities are new due to a recent renovation. The place is contemporary, quiet, and located close to the harbor boardwalk / downtown. I would much rather stay at Matt and Toni’s than any other inn I saw in town. Matt and Toni are hostly and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend Matt and Toni’s.

This place is amazingly decorated by people with great artistic flair. Super clean, great hosts, a really comfortable place to stay. It also has a stunning view and fantastic sunsets. A true gem on the California coast.

Great location, great views, nice big clean space and friendly helpful staff. Has parking. I enjoyed listening to the sea lions play. Easy wifi, and comfy furnishings. The place has a beachy, artisan motif with lots of custom details that really make it unique. Awesome!

I had the good fortune to spend some time in Morro Bay and lucked into this little gem through a friend...With only 3 rooms it is cozy, and private with a bluff top view from Morro Rock to the back bay..Amazing postcard sunrise and sunset views from the deck and living room..The friendly owners Matt and Toni live on premises and are around if you need them and invisible if you do not...The furnishings are comfortable and definitely unpretentious...5 minute walk to the Embarcadero or Main St ..Perfect for a few days or a longer stay...Note that all units are upstairs, so you need to be ok with a dozen or so wooden steps.
