Montreal Beach Resort

Really had a nice stay, they have done a LOT of work updating/remodeling, its nice. The only thing remaining of the old bathroom is the tub but it was nice and clean.) Beds were comfy with lots of pillows. The only improvements I could recommend is get a bigger TV and the plumbing fixtures bath tub/shower updated. Check in was quick, very updated office and check in person was very nice. Doors to rooms were on the backside and all room balconies directly faced the ocean with a great view EXCEPT the first three rooms of each floor. 401 and 402 share a common balcony that has the hotels sun deck in front of, and slightly above, them, thus the partial ocean view on them. 403 is a suite I think with two balconies, one with a great view, the other partially blocked by the sun deck and al

Overall great experience. We stayed in the meridian suite and it was beautiful for this time of year. Over looking the ocean it was just a peaceful one night stay. John the shuttle driver was awesome. He was polite engaged in conversation and really cared about us enjoying our stay. The woman at the front desk .. sorry forgot her name … she also was polite and made sure our room was ready since we arrived early. Harry’s bar is on property and it’s a wonderful cool vibe. Very nice, very clean updated room. We were in room 301- so no view or balcony- but you could step outside and walk around and look at the water (which is across the street)-BUT people do walk by the front of your room, in front of the sliding glass doors, so if you don't want that, book room with a view- they have balconies and you cannot walk in front of them.Check in was a breeze and Diane was very efficient and informative. We only stayed 1 night, but chose not to go to the pool because we came on a Sunday, thinking it would be quiet and chill. The bar is right next to the heated pool and there was a band, so it was not quiet- nothing wrong with it- just not what we were looking for. Beach was gorgeous. We went to Cape May in December, a first for us. Many hotels are not open, so we made a reservation here. We really enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable and well equipped with essentials, like coffee, towels, cups, silverware. The beds were comfy and thankful the heat worked well. Nice balcony, but the cold weather kept us from using it. The office staff was pleasant and helpful. Beautiful Christmas tree in lobby!

The room was nice the beds were comfortable obviously off season maybe that's why the rest of the place kinda looks just ok. But the front desk was nice. Only thing I didn't like was before check out time the house keeping just opened the door because we were in the living room and shower. I feel like unless you someone checks out you shouldn't knock on the door an hour before check out...
