Molas Lake Park & Campground

We got the COOLEST campsite. Super private, cozy and on the lake. Quiet and peaceful all around. Fish jumping on the water and ducks that swim up to you! The hosts are SO nice and make you feel SO welcome. Juniper, the dog that is on the grounds is so sweet and wonderful with kids. The convenience store on site has everything you can think of and need. Couldnt recommend this place more!

Nice little campground near the Colorado Trail. Sites are fairly distant from each other. Small lake is great for fishing and paddle board. Rentals available on site. Sites on the lake are nice, but more $$$. 4 private shower rooms available, $5 gets you a 4 min shower ( a bit pricey for 4 minutes). Overall, worth a night or two.

Really nice CG. No hookups or water for rv but they do have a dumpster for trash. You can take a shower up at the entrance and they do have a faucet for you to get water to drink. The RV sides are great most have view of the little lake. They do offer hundred dollar sites to where you are sitting right above the lake with a view. But all the sites really are lovely. Very dog friendly and the staff is super friendly and helpful with anything you need.

We stopped here to do a little fishing and scout some places to stay with an RV. They have some RV parking near the highway with absolutely incredible views of the mountains. They also have some campsites further away from the road for tent camping or small campers. I am definitely coming back and making this an overnight stop. I just couldn’t get over the views and I want to wake up and go to sleep being able to see them. My son caught 3 rainbow trout, and we saw an eagle dip down in the lake and grab one right in front of him. They have a cleaning station and we saw other campers filling up their water tanks, though we did catch and release that day so we didn’t use those offerings. Absolutely incredible, in love with the area and will definitely be back.

This is a truly beautiful location! We had a very good experience at this campsite. The owners were friendly and accommodating. The lake is absolutely stunning and we had so much fun renting a paddleboard for the evening. Also, you can't beat taking a hot shower while camping. Over all I was very pleased and definitely want to come back!
