MK Hotels - ASU

Amazing stay at MK Hotels ASU Tempe — roomy layout with a couch! I had an awesome stay at MK Hotels ASU in Tempe. The biggest win was the room layout—it felt more like a mini-suite than a basic hotel room. Having the couch/sitting area made a huge difference because I could actually relax, eat, and unwind without being stuck on the bed the whole time. The room was clean, comfortable, and well set up for a longer stay, with the kind of practical features you actually use (fridge/microwave setup and solid Wi-Fi). The location is also super convenient—close to ASU and right in the middle of everything in Tempe, so getting around was easy. **Would 100% stay here again.**

This hotel is a decent option if you're looking for a convenient location near ASU and aren’t expecting luxury. It’s affordable and functional but lacks a standout feature to make it memorable. I'd recommend it for solo travelers or budget-conscious guests staying for a short time.

Its not a best western. Its an individually owned franchise network. Room was clean, very thin towels and just 1 set for 2 people. The fire detector was missing. The toilet was not seated well and rocked every time you sit on it. No kleenex. 1 roll of toilet paper. No ice bucket. Bed was comfy. It has a microwave and mini fridge. The coffee in lobby was cold. No longer serves breakfast. Elevator intermittently stopped working.

Positive: The location. Negative: My toilet ran ALL NIGHT and kept me awake. The internet would not allow any of my devices to connect so that I could do my work. 6 hours of pay lost because of it. Around 7am, the toilet chain broke and it was just a terrible experience!

From check-in to checkout, every staff member was professional and courteous. Alma welcomed me with a warm smile, made the check-in process effortless, and provided excellent customer service throughout. Rahul, who was working the overnight shift, was also very respectful and delivered outstanding service. Both team members were truly exceptional. The property was clean, well-lit, and well-maintained. My room was spotless, and I especially loved the modern design of the bathroom. Overall, it was a wonderful two-day stay at SureStay. Highly recommend!
