I absolutely loved my stay! From the moment I arrived, everything felt so welcoming and easy. The location is incredibly accessible, which made getting around a breeze, and the rooms were not only cute but also cozy and thoughtfully arranged. I really felt the positive, inviting vibe throughout the property, it’s the kind of place that just makes you want to relax and enjoy your time even while on business. I felt safe and will definitely be coming back for my next work trip, and I can’t thank you enough for making my stay such a great experience!

Minecart Motor Lodge was the perfect place to stay for our one night trip to Montrose. The rooms were extremely clean, the beds were comfortable, and the lodge itself was located centrally in town. The staff was also extremely accommodating by allowing my boyfriend and I to check in early. Breakfast and coffee were provided in the lobby, which was an added bonus! Perfect for a short stay if you are looking for a clean, friendly, and walkable hotel!

Positive: Very clean room and comfortable linens and bed. Convenient location near downtown. Negative: Room was super small and very pricey. Bathroom and sink had no room for toiletries.

This is an old hotel that has been newly renovated. It’s very clean and cozy. The room was small, but worked great for a quick overnight stay. No parking lot drama or bad vibes from neighboring tenants. The lady at the front counter was nice and well spoken. The only negative aspect is the extensive list of charges they enforce and post right on the door for various things. Stained towels, sheets, rags, etc. We never felt at ease with the threat of the slightest mistake costing hundreds of dollars. With no table to eat at, we ate in the car rather than setting in bed, out of fear. For that reason we will stay at a different hotel on our way home.

I'll start with the good - the employees were friendly and helpful. The bad - the room was incredibly small, there was no clock anywhere, no outlet in the bathroom so I had to fix my hair while sitting on the bed, then get up and go to the bathroom to check it in the mirror, and continue this process until I was done. The bathroom door didn't fit properly, so it would not stay shut, much less lock for privacy. No one cleaned our room - our trash was overflowing and we ran out of toilet paper. Also, no breakfast - just pop tarts, applesauce, and yogurt. We paid $190 per night, which was about $100/night too much for what we got.
