Country Lodge

The staff at country lodge were great. They were very friendly and helpful. The grounds looked nice, well kept and clean. Price was good. We liked the room very much. It was clean and usable. They have nice chairs so you don't just have beds to sit on. The beds were comfortable and the shower was good. We've stayed in a couple of other places in Montrose but if we go there again this is the place we will always stay.

Stayed one night in Montrose and found The Country Lodge by happy chance. We took the last available room .The facility is well maintained. It is dated. The pool was clean. The hot tub available year round. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The Wi-Fi was slow.

Highly recommend staying here! The rooms are very clean, comfy beds, and they have a pool & hot tub! Great location! Friendly staff. Good value. My husband has stayed here several times while going through town and always spoke highly of it. I happened to be with him this time and couldn't agree more. Very clean and cozy. Recommend! (Note I spend roughly 220+ nights in a hotel per year.)

This motel is one of a kind. Wonderful owners(and their pit bulls) who seem very friendly, super sweet. My room was amazing. I love the all the old features and art work.

Very clean room, nice property outside with lots of flowers and grass which I appreciated. It was very convenient to be able to park in front of my room. Nice decor. Clean bathroom. Comfortable bed and pillows. The pool and pool area look very nice. I can tell they put a lot of pride into caring for the property. There didn't seem to be much noise isolation between rooms or the outside. I could hear my adjacent neighbors even though they weren't being loud. My main concern was that the road noise was pretty noticeable -- starting very early in the morning and continuing to pretty late in the evening. Many of the rooms here face the main road in front of the motel. At night my room seemed a bit dim, but adequate, even with four lamps turned on. The bathroom / sink area was very
