Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cotulla

This hotel is completely unsafe. I was sleeping with my wife when a strange man entered our room. When I tried to call the front desk, no one answered for a while. When I reported the situation, they said it happens all the time. Imagine being with your wife and a stranger entering your room! I left the hotel immediately and tried to get a refund, but they refused. This hotel is unsafe.

The room was in unacceptable and unsanitary condition, with a strong foul odor resembling a dirty, poorly maintained carpet. The environment was overwhelming and intolerable. As a result of these conditions, both my elderly mother and I became ill. In addition, the room was excessively hot, creating an unsafe and uninhabitable environment. These conditions are completely unacceptable and fall far below basic health and hospitality standards.

Positive: Not much. Negative: Broken bed, given handicap room, TP holder & towel bar broken/missing, questionable if refrigerator worked, coffee but not maker/machine in room.

The first room we got had the restroom ceiling full of mold and water was leaking from the top restroom. We were able to switch rooms but the issue there was the lights would not work properly and the bed covers were stained with red. Would not stay here again or recommend this place to no one.

Very clean property. Staff is excellent to work with. Lizzy at front desk is outstanding with communication and room billing. Very reasonably priced hotel
