Methow Reservations

How much do I LOVE Central Reservations?! I love it so much that I wish they managed all of my accommodations when it comes to traveling, which is a LOT! I have traveled all over the world and find that working with this friendly team wins hands down in hospitality and convenience. I have been visiting the Methow Valley for 28 years and always use Central Reservations for my accommodation needs. Great people, great business and working with them boosts the local economy. Do yourself a favor and use them for you next trip!

If you are planning on visiting any of the towns or resorts in the Methow Valley and will need a place to stay, Central Reservations is simply the best way to find the lodging that is right for you. Seriously, this area has a wide variety of lodging and the amenities, and locations vary considerably. When I contacted Central Reservations, I spoke to a real person who lives in the valley and they provided me with detailed information about each place and location and gave me recommendations. I contacted them because I was going Winthrop on short notice and I couldn't find any decent lodging. We have used Central Reservations in Winthrop to book lodging for the Oregon Nordic Club, for our annual ski trips to the Methow Valley for many years. Briefly, they are what an ideal reservation agency should be! They seem to understand our needs, with respect to location, beds, and amenities. The condos we rent are always clean and fresh. My family has been booking with Central Reservations since I was a child. If you need to communicate with someone real, they are quick, friendly, and responsible. And they care about their service! 11/9/2017: I am updating my review to 4 stars instead of 5 because we had to reschedule and cancel one of our bookings this season and ended up incurring $78 in credit card fees through Central Reservations. The fact that they pass along the fees (4% per transaction i.e. charge, refund, etc) to the customer is fine, but please at least make the customer aware! Perhaps at the time of booking or revise the FAQ on the site that says "Central Reservations is a free service to you and does not charge any kind of booking or service fees" as that feels a bit misleading.

I've always heard good things about Central Reservations in the Methow Valley but usually end up staying with friends or booking in a lodge. Our annual family trip landed in the Methow this year. We booked through a different agency and two months later, were told of a double booking, refunded and our stay cancelled. Shocked and worried that our family trip wouldn't happen, we turned to Central Reservations for many more options in the valley, great site, great communication, and a well handled transaction & experience. I'm not sure why we used another agency but we won't make that mistake again! Central Reservations from here on out!
