Mermaid Lounge @ Smugglers Cove

Everything about it had a beautiful ora, if you're plain Jane than it's not for you. But if you're looking for an actual vacation, something fun and colorful than you'll enjoy it. The host was very polite and helpful. Thank you for you're generosity!

Stayed here after Christmas this year, and loved the low key gulf coast vibe. George, the owner is really knowledgeable about the area, and we almost felt like locals when we left. Mr. Nightlight took us to Tates Hell state park, as well as out to St. George Island. It's a bit different, but we loved it!

It was exactly as described! Hands down one of the coolest places we've had the pleasure of staying. True, this is not the Hilton or Marriott. (If you want an uppity place like that, there are plenty of options nearby) But if you want a truly unique experience in a convenient location, this is your place! Our room was clean, had all the necessities, and of course was filled with original works of art. We even bought one that we fell in love with to take home with us. There is an awesome outdoor kitchen and plenty of grills to use as you please. But we went to the market and got fresh seafood and produce and had a blast cooking it on the fire Dan is truly a stand up guy and very welcoming. He had tons of information on the area and lots of great suggestions for things to do while we were

Dan is an upstanding and amazing guy! I love listening to him tell of his experiences. Smugglers Cove is my favorite place to stay in the area! It's a 70's style cool, artsy place that Dan built. Very special to me and a place I truly love to visit. Thanks Dan!

On my 4 week trip from Toronto to Miami this is one of the most memorable places we've stayed. I believe this place is not for everybody. Don't expect fully equipped hotel rooms. Dan is a great host, a really nice guy with great knowledge on the surrounding area
