Island Suites - St. George Island

We loved it here! Sometimes places just feel like home. It was so relaxing and the staff was very friendly! Breakfast was included, so added bonus. We will definitely be back!

I agree with previous posters -- an older building but well maintained. Room was clean and very comfortable. Decor was nice and the view was spectacular. The room was pleasantly spacious. We arrived a bit earlier, and we were allowed to check in as soon as the room was ready; we appreciate that. We especially liked the room was non-smoking and no-pet.

This quaint place is decorated beautifully and the bed slept well but I needed a stool to get on it! The room was so clean even though you could tell it was an older place that had been remodeled. The bathroom door needs to be reset to open INTO the bathroom and not OUT into the entrance area. This was an area of contention for us because it keeps the air conditioner from circulating into the bathroom because the door continually blocked the air flow and the entrance into the room! |The walk to the beach was nice with a boardwalk private to the guests at Island Suites. And the balcony seating was nice for viewing the ocean and the beach.

This is an amazing place to stay! It's very clean. No pet, no smoking room. Beautiful, oceanside decor in the room and a great view. There is easy beach access. Only two complaints; the towels looked old and shabby, the front gate was supposed to have a passcode, but it seemed to be broken. Otherwise it was a nice stay. Definitely recommend!

Booked this B&B from their website island-suites||||The 8-room 2-floor building is right on the beach, all rooms have oceanfront views with private large balconies.||||Our room was quiet and very spacious with a comfortable bed & furnishings. ||It has a large-size mini refrigerator & microwave. ||||The bathroom was dated but clean with plenty of towels. ||||Wi-fi was easy to connect to & worked great.||||A/C kept us comfy.||||Easy walk to many local restaurants.||||We would stay here for any future visits!
