Meridian Inn Hotel, MS

The worst dump I've ever stayed at. Commercial dryers in the parking lot, room next door filled with stacked chairs. Was informed there would be no breakfast although there was when booked, owner didn't care. Stayed up all night with the curtains open to watch our vehicle, we should have ran but needed to stop after being on the road for a long time. Mold on bathroom ceiling, towels the size of washcloths. Photos must have been years old because they weren't indicative of the room we had. No signage stating the name of the hotel, just a Days Inn sign from what they probably were until a rep must have showed up and seen what their name was on. Funiture with screws popping out of the top and completely warn with the finish rubbed/scratched off in many spots. That about covers it, still want

Back in September 2020 my son and I were tired and decided to stop. The owners were so friendly and helpful. He made sure we had everything and even their son is very congenial. Really great people so it made my stay perfect! I hope they moved those plants out of the way or more people might think they’re closed! The wife was great at making sure my son had some things to eat while we were driving. It’s an older hotel so rooms are dated but honestly it was extremely clean and I felt safe there too! That makes a huge difference. Thank you!! 😁😊

Not too fond of this place. It’s not that it’s bad, it’s dated but not bad. The rooms are nice and the price point is economical and matches the accommodations. Seems to have a lot of interstate traffic; guys staying here are usually just resting as part of their Class A license requirement. The front desk is friendly, the cleaning staff are very nice when you get to know them. I initially rated it 3 stars because of the breakfast but I had a very informative conversation with the management and can say that my issues were easily rectified.

The staff was very very nice! The reviews states that this was a good place to stay. Well I beg to differ. Immediately as we walk in the room smelled of mildew and urine. I am glad I brought spray. The bathroom smelled heavily of urine, and the toilet paper was not a fresh roll. So I don’t know who used it before us. We could not close the bathroom door. There is a super super bright light outside and the curtains don’t help. I also wanted to mention that we booked a king size bed, and ended up with two twins. My fiancé and I slept in separate beds which is fine. I wish I could say that it was worth $73.35, but I would not take kids here, and if you truly want to relax, it’s not here. The only plus was that the beds were very comfortable, clean, and the A/C worked.

It was good for a night of rest. Stayed one night here just to rest. The rooms are dated badly. The beds were newer and comfy. The ceiling in the bathroom over the shower was falling in. The coffee pot did not work. Nice TV. Water pipes make lots of noise when anyone including other rooms turned on water. No hot breakfast so pictures are not up to date. You get juice, coffee, water, donuts, or yogurt. I would look at other options in the area cause there are plenty of other places to stay in the area.
