Melwood Court

The location is the only positive about this place. We overlooked the fact that it was so outdated because of the nostalgia, however since camp Clearwater has taken over we will never return. Our family has been regulars for over 60 years but we have since found a better location with better accommodations, professional staff, and all around just a better place for a summer family vacation. Our last two stays were quite a nightmare honestly. The plumbing messed up on our first night and we were blamed for pouring grease down the drain however we hadn’t even cooked anything the entire time we were there. Couldn’t use our restroom all day and had family staying on both sides of us and the smell ran them out of their rooms as well. No accommodations were made and with small children it’s a l

First time staying here and it was great. Parking was a little tricky but we managed. The staff was helpful and friendly. It was just a short walk to Goldsten beach and camp Clearwater. Loved my stay. Only complaint was the shower size and stove (oven didn’t have a light to tell you it was on)

My family, and I have been staying at melwood court for 60 years now. We've loved every minute of it. Any minor problems were taking care of immediately. James and Becky were the greatest. The Lake church is wonderful. With the new owners we can now go to CampClearwater too. Love the bingo, and dance on the weekends. We will be there on the 16th. If you like playing cornhole come play. Just give the new owners a chance. You will have a wonderful time.

My family has been staying at this motel for 40 years. Always clean. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Linens are furnished. Our room type has a full size stove and refrigerator. This was the first motel built at White Lake which makes it a little nostalgic. So, NEW OWNERS this year. I hope they can continue to provide the same wonderful VACATION EXPERIENCE that we have enjoyed for so many years.

I love melwood court.... but updates are needed! it's quite expensive to be as old and rundown as it is....and prices go up every year. could use a good upgrade. some rooms have been renovated ... but very few and the room we stayed in has not..... but desperately needs it.
