Gilligans Island Resort Campground

Quite place, overall it's okay. The bathhouse is not very private. You must shower, then walk from shower to another room to get ready, no where to undress and redress directly after showering off, unless you stay in the wet shower to do this and the door to outside must stay open, which allows people outside to look in. Pool hours are "until close" so no idea of exact time of closing. The camping spot we got was nice and clean, it is directly on the lake. Lake is behind the camper, but still had a beautiful view. We did like the upper deck and the game hall. There are a bunch of games, including a pool table, connect four, pickle ball, and many more. The hall had fans in it and lead to the outside areas on both sides. There is a church service at the dock area on Sundays. Sugar Shack ice

We have enjoyed many nights and weekends here. Management is outstanding friendly and helpful. Almost all campers are families with children and are as nice as can be. We love the pool and pier and lots of places to sun, read, relax. Do yourself a favor and stay a while. Happy camping. Steve and Norma Carver, Dunn NC

We stayed on their luxury rv site and LOVED it! The view was spectacular. Owners were very friendly. All of the bathhouse were spotless and well stocked. The pool was beautiful. We enjoyed ourselves so much. We'll definitely be returning.

We stayed in one of their glamping sites and the camper had plenty of space, bunk room and living space had room to move around in and the front porch was nice. The AC does need to be replaced and we were told that in advance we just needed to make sure the door stayed shut but it was hot. (Not to have a lot of in and out). We ended up bringing two fans and spending money on two more. The grounds are very nice. Water area nice. Inside pavilion was too hot inside to enjoy during the day and closed early, but looked like a nice place. Pool area looked nice didn’t get a chance to use it. Over all nice quiet campground and our only complaints would be the AC. Kids enjoyed exploring white lake area and swimming at night. We would definitely stay again. 💞

I recently stayed at Gilligans Island Resort/Campground, and had an amazing experience! The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the check-in process was smooth. Our deluxe overnight spot had the best views, easy access to the pool/lake, and even an ice cream shop across the road! The campground is beautifully maintained with spacious sites and plenty of activities near by. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, and relaxing by the pool with the kids. Overall, Gilligans Island exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to return and make more great memories!
