May River Manor

May River Manor is such a sweet getaway sanctuary truly away from it all. This team has curated a relaxed, luxurious vibe without being ostentatious. We cherished our morning coffee service on our private porch and appreciated the intentional breakfast menu, mid day snacks, and complimentary beverages - all offered at times specific to the needs of our schedule. Meg is a spectacular host and we felt valued and cared for from before we arrived through to the final farewell. We look forward to booking future stays here and recommending it to family and friends, too.

I want to give a huge thank you to Meg James and everyone who made our stay at the May River Manor unforgettable. This amazing getaway was gifted through the May River BNI Chapter I belong to, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Stepping away from the noise and soaking up time with the two people I love most was a blessing I didn’t realize I needed. The entire experience was perfect and the food… DELICIOUS! I was looking for a place to stay while my husband and I were visiting my family for Thanksgiving and found May River Major while Googling. Previously I have stayed at the Bluffton Inn (very nice!) and Palmetto Bluffs (a little too much for me). May River Manor is my new favorite! The hospitality was wonderful. We were staying during a holiday but the whole staff went out of their way to be kind and accommodating. Every evening when we came back from visiting family there was a delicious snack/cheese board waiting for us. We got to hang out by the wood-burning fireplace on chilly mornings and evenings. It felt like being at home. The room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable, impeccably clean, and well-appointed. The shower was 10/10! So luxe. Would definitely recommend May River Manor a

We love May River Manor ❤️. We have stayed here 3 times. Our time there is always fabulous! The Manor is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast is exceptional! We celebrated my mother’s 90 th birthday there with family. They helped plan a birthday menu and everything was amazing! Thank you May River Manor for a beautiful 90th birthday celebration that our family will always cherish! Thank you Meg . You and May River Manor are exceptional in every way!

May River Manor provides stellar guest service beginning with a text a few days before your stay to assist with your unique needs and interests. In particular, Meg James was amazing. She was 100% available by text throughout my visit and expertly cared for my what turned out be many needs for assistance separate from my stay. Specifically, she made arrangements for a local tailor at the very last minute (during a holiday week!) I highly recommend May River Manor and will definitely return for another stay.
