Well, there isn't anything about checking time- apparently you have 3pm-9pm check-in. Either than there wasn't any problems with the place; quiet the bed is comfortable; no shower curtain but water was hot. Pretty good accommodations and location right off the metro. Exit Shaw Metro station from R St.and walk across toward the 7/11 and it's on there on the rightsideq.

Rats and cockroaches everywhere. Tall man is very rude, always dirty here. Filthy and disgusting. Not worth $10 a night, I wouldn’t stay here for free. This place does not get cleaned, bathroom is disgusting. MOLD EVERYWHERE!! Needs to be shut down

Honestly pretty good. I was expecting worse after reading the other comments, but I didn’t find evidence of one bug other than flies outside. The bed isn’t exactly Mattress Firm quality, but you’re also not paying for that, so it’s okay. I struggled to use the pin-pad (only because I’m not as technically advanced as everyone else) and when I called the people, they were really helpful. I was even able to drop my stuff before check-in time. The place is located close to many bars and clubs, but I didn’t hear any noise from them. The only noise I had during the night was the people in the room snoring, and that’s not exactly the hostels fault. Overall, it’s clean place to lay your head for the night and a hot shower. You couldn’t ask for more at that price. Also, there is two sections, the t

The place is ok for the price. There is no staff at all, so you better check your phone to see the instructions to self check in. Location is great. I stayed in room 202 and it is comfortable. There is a shared kitchen but no cookware at all, not even to boil some water for tea, maybe consider adding at least an electric kettle.

STAY AWAY! I got there after midnight due to a flight delay. The access code didn't open the door so I was on the street with luggage, passport and dozens of RATS because of the garbage cans of the restaurant beside it. A homeless passing by told me to hide (!!!) because a man had been shot on the corner the night before. I kept calling the owner for 1h, but nobody answered. Frightened, I called 911 and even the police kept calling the hostel number. 911 sent 2 cops to wait outside with me (!!!) At 3:30am my call was answered (by Mike, I guess) and through his phone, he opened the front door. The bedroom had more than 10 ROACHES under the furnitue!!! The shower curtain's too short, so even if you're careful, the bathroom gets flooded when you take a shower. It was THE WORST traveling exper
