Marriott's Legends Edge at Bay Point

really lovely grounds, well kept & very clean. the rooms all face the large pool area & are modern and well appointed. great area for strolling along paths, getting involved with hotel activities, sunning, swimming or soaking in the large hot tub. staff is friendly and informed, excited to help. fresh coffee is available in the welcoming center for you to help yourself to. was also great that each room has it's own washer & dry inside the suite.|if you're looking for the beach, well, you're not going to get it here. it's about 30 minutes away. this resort is great for families that just want to hang out poolside or for golfers. |only complaint i had was that the list of restaurants, given out by concierge, described one of the restaurants as sitting on "the gulf of america" found it offen

We had a wonderful stay at this Resort. From checking in the staff was helpful and friendly. The room and the grounds were well kept. There was plenty to do there and we very much enjoyed the activities they had. The people running them were always happy and helpful and fun! It was a great location and we enjoyed several beaches and eateries. We are two couples of retirees but it would be a wonderful place to come with a family. We highly recommend it and would enjoy returning. Thanks to everyone! Becks and Swains

Everything about this resort was excellent. Our suite was very nice with everything we needed such as dishes, coffee, laundry soap, paper towels, beach towels. Participated in bingo, Cornhole, volleyball and ping pong. |Hot tub and pool temperatures were perfect. Enjoyed a movie night at the theater with 2 pages to choose from. Free bags of popcorn were provided. We took advantage of the grill to cook out. Bags of ice, additional soap, coffee, were all free for pickup at desk |Starbucks coffee was also available. |Free muffins were served one morning and danish another. Could not have asked for a better experience. It was also nice could took cooler down to pool area. Highly recommend

The villas were well laid out and very clean. The staff was friendly and the resort was quiet. This resort is extremely small without much on property. Although, there is a nice heated outdoor pool and hot tub it was closed on the only sunny days I had during my visit. This was disappointing as I wasn't informed about this closure when making reservations. I was told about exterior painting but expected that to be completed by the time of my visit. It was not. There is a bad smell in the air outside most of the time.

We had an excellent week at this property. Everything was immaculately clean. The staff was very helpful. We got an end villa as requested. Absolutely quiet and beautiful location. Central to lots of good restaurants. Would absolutely return to this gem. We had a chance to explore the area with our car rental from this base. Had read some earlier negative reviews but honestly, we had a 100% perfect stay. Hank Ossining
