La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Panama City

We loved the amenities of the hotel. Beds were so comfy. Breakfast was great. Some hot and cold choices. Eggs, sausages, fresh bagels, toast, hot and cold cereals and great coffee. Bright and cheerful place to stay. No

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only downside was lack of countertop space. Breakfast is the usual fare of powdered eggs and warmed up link sausages, but there was also waffles and wide assortment of other breakfast items. I did mark the location down because of the proximity to the railroad tracks. Pretty noisy at 5:30 in the morning.

The lobby staff were wonderful and the food service did a good job. Our room had a smudge of something on the toilet lid, and blood droplet stains on my bedding and nothing really smelled clean when we got there. I booked at a discount through a third party; this experience would not have been worth standard booking price.

Came and celebrated our own little Thanksgiving dinner in our room ( we brought our cool full of the fixings ) Staff was very helpful and friendly. The only problem was the hot tub was not working and it was to cold to go in the pool. We stayed 4 nights and it was a very relaxing experience. If we ever travel to Panama City again we will definitely stay here.

Positive: The rooms are big Negative: There was an 17ish$ "destination" fee added on (mind you I live two hours away in Florida) that was not disclosed and was not refundable. Very predatory to keep their prices down. I will not be returning.
