Marriott's Grande Ocean

I recently stayed at Marriott’s Grande Ocean and really enjoyed the experience. The location is excellent, just a few steps from the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the ocean throughout the stay. Guests also have access to Sea Pines, which is a great added benefit. The property is well maintained, and the grounds are clearly cared for. Our unit was spacious and very clean, with plenty of room to relax comfortably. While the interior isn’t the most updated, everything was in good condition and thoughtfully maintained, which made the space feel welcoming and functional. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a clean, spacious resort in a prime beachfront location with convenient access to nearby attractions.

Positive: Number of various pools Negative: Check in parking design. It was the worst experience checking in bc signs didn’t direct you and there was no parking. Whoever designed that area should be fired immediately! Park far away from check in and walk!

This is by far the best resort that we’ve stayed at thus far. Anywhere we stay moving forward has some huge shoes to fill! ||The front staff was nice. She did a good job explaining everything. We were aware of what needed reservation, what had a fee, the layout. She even gave a good recommendation for a date night. The concierge was not helpful. I asked about the distillery cause we already planned on going. He told us he couldn’t help book more was he aware of any discounts. However when I settled in, it was listed as one of the places that accepts the MVC discounts. (Marriot vacation club) ||Our suite was equipped with all the necessities. The only reason I didn’t give this a total five star rating is because there’s a hidden $25 a day parking fee that was very unclear to me until I checked in. Otherwise, this is a beautiful place with every amenity you can think of. We had a 2 Bedroom place and it’s so roomy. The kitchen has everything you could need. Spotless clean. This is the third year we have stayed here and we will be back.
