Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort

The room was nice, clean, new. Would get a 5 star but the water pressure in the shower pissed me off- a trickle. The balcony was big and my view was nice! The fighter jets are SO LOUD and are constantly noise- so be prepared to hear them in your room, at all times. The bed was comfy. The food was BAD and overpriced. The room service and restaurants close at 9/930pm, so be sure to watch that. The ice cream shop has a Starbucks counter inside, so that was nice. Expensive. Everything was so expensive. $22 drinks, $10 cofee drinks. The gym was clean and nice. Had water. The lobby is beautiful. The grou ds were beautiful. I was here in February, but I can imagine it being really great in the summer.

Fabulous experience at the Marriott! Room was bright, clean and had a wonderful ocean view. The balcony was large with two chairs and a table. Would have been perfect to sit on if it hadn’t been so cold this weekend. All of the staff we came across was welcoming and friendly and the whole hotel was spotless. We had a wonderful time.

This hotel was PHENOMENAL! We stayed in a corner room which gave us an ocean view balcony with chairs as well as a view of the historic Cavalier across the street (their “sister” hotel). The restaurant off of the lobby, TULU was delicious for drinks, dinner, and breakfast the following morning. We will definitely come back in the summer when it’s warm enough to take advantage of their ocean-side pool, beach access, and rooftop bar/grill. The hotel was modern, updated, squeaky clean, and a luxe beach vibe I have not experienced in VaBeach for a while. There was a hotel across the parking lot that was part of their little compound when I needed a few toiletries and Tylenol from their convenience store area. Highly recommend! My stay was short but very nice. A quick Thanksgiving getaway and we had a blast!!! We chose the Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront because of its convenient location and the beautiful scenery. I stayed on the 12th floor in a comfortable room with a balcony in direct view of the Atlantic Ocean. The room was immaculate and modern. The fitness center was great as well, equipped with everything you can think of. It is open 24 hours and always well lit. Simone, Calvin and Anthony at the front desk staff were very pleasant and welcoming, engaging and were genuinely concerned about our needs during our stay. They even gave top-notch suggestions for local activities. I was impressed that whenever I called the front desk, my call was answered after the first ring each time. We will definitely
