Margaret Mac Nider Park

Loved this place! We only stayed one night, but I can't wait to come back for a week. It's right next to the park where there is a small river and walking trails. There is tons of stuff for kids. Playground and water park. And it's in a really nice neighborhood, so it feels safe.

This is definitely one of the nicest city parks we've ever stayed in. Mason City is an incredible journey, so many parks, trails and things to do. The Aquatic Center next door is amazing!

Wonderful little city campground with FHU concrete sites at $26/nite, concrete storm shelter. Lots to see and do in Mason City, close to the Surf Ballroom along with Buddy Holly's crash site.

This is a great park. Greetings when we checked in with our 40 foot RV was quick. Hosts were very nice. The whole camp was well maintained and bathroom clean and comfortable. The aquatic center looked wonderful, but no time as only staying the night. Able to have a nice walk with the dogs by the river.Great job Mason City.

The park is managed and operated by Mason City. It’s very clean and friendly. The restrooms may just be the best I’ve ever been in. We were on the move and only stayed one day, so I can’t recommend entertainment of the park. The staff were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. Only concern was the low bridges in route to and from the park. Keep your eyes open for them.
