Marco Beach Vacation Suites

We have stayed here many times. We have always loved it. Not this time. Unit 309 is just plain dirty, the screen is punched out in Lani. One of the porch chairs is broken. The Microwave is on its last leg. We found old food in cupboard. The bed was very soft and the mattress worn down. Out of 3 grills, only one barley lit. All 3 were very dirty. The pool was wonderful........

Old , needs updating. Good location and close to the beach. Smelled like weed on the balcony and elevator every day. Lots of non guest using to parking lot and pool every day. Condo we had was very small. Lots of older appliances and decor. Go elsewhere.

The sliding pocket doors for the bathroom did not close all the way, leaving no privacy while using the bathroom. The site has 3 gas bbq grills, 2 of which are broken and do not work. I spoke with another guest who told me the dishwasher was broken in their room. I had a rather severe allergic reaction to what i assume was the bedding or the cleaning agents used on the bedding. The location is great.

Marco Beach is lined with two dozen or more gated condo hotels, with only two places for public access with small parking lots that are expensive and always full by 9 AM. So if you planned on going to the beach you are out of luck. However, MBVS also known as beach club of Marco, has its own private gated five foot wide 250 foot long pathway between two condos with direct access to the beach right across the street. This feature alone negates the many detriments of the hotel highlighted in the other negative reviews here. Yes the building is dated, the rooms not fancy, the furniture looks to be from the thrift store, there are no services, and the pool umbrellas are broken. I had to go to the thrift store to buy eating utensils and cookware, left them behind, and they are still here t

They need feather pillows and not rubber and steps to get into high bed. Excellent accommodations, 9th floor or higher best for gulf views. We'll equipped kitchen and bath. Will stay again. Extremely pleased. The concierge should know what restaurants are open on what days so you don't walk in the heat endlessly to no avail. Carpet needs to be stretched in living room 806. The expectation was low and beyond surprised how wonder the condo was. Five stars!
